Javier Martinez, 77, passed away on the 9th of December 2024. Born on the 20th of January 1947, he is the son of Simon Martinez and Lucy Beatty.


Javier grew up and attended school in El Paso graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School and later received a bachelor’s degree upon graduation from The University of Texas-El Paso.


Javier was a proud employee of the Social Security Administration beginning his service in California and concluding in Arizona. Javier retired after 27 years and moved back to El Paso with his wife Raquel in 2000. Upon moving back to El Paso, Javier renewed his love with God and the Church, eventually becoming a valued member of the knights of Columbus! Javier had 3 passions in life; His family, His church and his beloved UTEP Miners. He was a lifelong Miners fan.



Javier is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Raquel and his 3 sons, Rodolfo, Daniel and Javier (Gabby). He also has 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
