Maria Victoria Quesada, 90, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 30, 1934, in El Paso, she was a vibrant spirit known for her unmistakable style, her deep love of dancing, and the
joy she brought to every room she entered. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that she is now joyfully dancing in heaven — probably in something fabulous.
Victoria, as she was lovingly known, expressed herself through bold colors, striking patterns, and an unwavering zest for life. She lived life boldly and beautifully, with strength, independence, and style. She lived life on her own terms, with fierce determination and an unmistakable flair, never afraid to wear bright colors, take up
space on the dance floor, or shower her family with love. She was a woman of strength, style, and spirit. She faced life with grace, determination, and a fire that never dimmed. Even in her later years, she insisted on staying mobile and active — a testament to her pride, independence, and unshakable spirit. She remained stylish, sharp, and full of life until the very end.
She is survived by her children: Mary Ann Luna, Gerarda Mendoza, and Manuel Quesada Jr.; and her grandchildren: Jose Alberto Luna Jr., Jo Ann Luna, Ann Marie Luna, Christa Pratte, John David Luna, Christian Luna, Anna Luna, Valerie Hodgin, Alyssa Mendoza, Alexandria Fierro, Amber Garcia, Angel Mendoza, Vanessa Quesada, and Christopher Quesada. Her legacy continues through her 13 great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her spirit forward. Victoria is preceded in death by her beloved son David Quesada; her parents, Maria de Jesus Moncada and Thomas Segura; and her siblings: Delia Ronyak, Petra Alvarado,
Thomas Segura, Jose Segura, Rosendo Segura, Raul Segura, Carolina Mesa, and Manuela Segura.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at San Elizario Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 12:30 PM.Family and friends are invited to join in remembering a woman whose style, spirit, and love will forever live in our hearts.
