Cecilia B Balandran, age 92, of El Paso Texas passed away on April 5, 2025 in her hometown.

Born November 22, 1932 Cecilia was the youngest of 7 children of Francisco Borunda and Consuelo Borunda, Cecilia attended Loretto academy and married Jose Balandran Sr on October 18, 1957. Cecilia and husband moved to El Paso, TX in 1974 and worked for The Popular as a bookkeeper until her retirement. Cecilia liked sports specially football. She also enjoyed watching the Thanksgiving parade, walking, loved playing bingo at the senior center and watching animal shows on TV.  Cecilia also volunteered at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for many years. She is survived by her children Jose Balandran, Efren Balandran, Cecilia L Balandran and Adrian Balandran; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funereal service Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at San Jose Chapel A. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery Alameda, 4301 Alameda Avenue, 79905.
