Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:30am at Ft. Bliss National

Cemetery, El Paso, TX.

Life Celebration with Family and Friends will take place directly afterwards at VFW Post 812,

El Paso, TX.

Dan will be missed by everyone who knew him and we will never forget his enthusiasm for life

and his happy, beaming smile and encouragement to all.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Project Hero / Ride2Recovery


Dan Post, 75, of Horizon City, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May, 18, 2024. He is survived

by his wife, Dawn, and 3 children, Misty (Jeff) Arruda of Las Cruces, NM, Jeanne (Matt) Deason

of Lake Harding, AL, and Cody (Heather) Post of Opelika, AL.

Also surviving are his 3 grandchildren, Jasmyn of Valley, AL, Blake of Las Cruces, NM, and

Ashton of Lake Harding, AL, as well as 2 great grandchildren, E’vonte Carter and Jada Essence

of Valley, AL.

He is also survived by his sister, Mary Lou (Richard) Rodriquez of Timberon, NM. As well as

many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Mack and Lucy Post of Tucson, AZ, his brother

Mike Post of Tucson AZ, and his Parents in law, Elden and Phyllis Delzer of Las Cruces, NM.

After graduating from Rincon High School in Tucson, AZ in 1966, Dan joined the United States

Marine Corps, having served 2 tours in Vietnam.

Dan was an avid bicyclist, motorcyclist, and all around athlete who loved the outdoors, his

family, his friends and his dogs.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
