The services will be held as follows: Sunday, April 6, 2025, at San Jose Funeral Home-East 10950 Pellicano Dr. with visitation from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. following a Rosary from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. On Monday, April 7, 2025, the Funeral service will be held at Saint Raphael Catholic Church 2301 Zanzibar Rd with mass at 11:30 A.M. The burial will be at Fort Bliss Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. 1:00 P.M.



The family has requested for donations to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org in lieu of flowers.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred Gonzalez on March 24, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife Rubie and daughter Alice (Mijita). The surviving brothers Rudy (Mary), Ralph (Carol) and sister-in-law Bobbie Mendivil and many close friends.


Alfred was a graduate from Austin High School and proudly served as a Medic and at Admin Company in the US Army. He was employed with the US Customs Service as a Senior Inspector, completing 31 years as a Civil Service employee.

Alfred was an avid golf player, enjoyed car racing and a Washington Redskins fan.


Many thanks to the caregivers who assisted: Enhabit Home Health -Vanessa, Priscilla, Veronica, Kevin and staff. Amorican - Calvin, Telly, Cristina and staff. VA Home Base Primary Care Team and Eastside VA staff.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
