A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a scripture service at 1:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr, 10950(915) 590-8700.
Passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the age of 43, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Peña, whose spirit undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Alberto is survived by his father Mario Peña, his sisters Isela Peña and Norma Peña, his nephew Mario Peña, nieces Gabriela Villegas and Arianna Villegas, aunts Guadalupe Uribe, Alicia Romero, Irma Romero (predeceased), Rosa Romero, uncles Fernando Uribe, Armando Romero, Rodolfo Estrada, and cousins Jasmine Estrada, Andy Estrada, Claudia Romero, Armando Romero, and Ricardo Romero. He leaves behind a multitude of extended family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Having spent his entire career in the food service industry, Alberto dedicated his life to the art of service, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have crossed his path. He was a kind and gentle soul who effortlessly left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His easy-going nature and infectious laughter brought light into the lives of those around him. Alberto's generosity knew no bounds, always extending a helping hand and radiating warmth wherever he went. His caring and compassionate spirit endeared him to friends and family alike.
Taken from us too soon, his death is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. In honoring Alberto's memory, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives, the laughter he shared, and the love he freely gave. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. May he rest in eternal peace.
