he services will begin with the Visitation and Rosary at San Jose Funeral Home-East on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. and will proceed with the Mass service at San Antonio de Padua Church at 11:30 a.m. and the burial promptly at 1:00p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetary
Victor Mendoza, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 77. Victor lived a life full of passion, dedication, and love.
He was known for his unwavering commitment to his family and a passion for motorcycles. A lifelong resident of El Paso, Victor was respected for his wisdom and integrity. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life, always offering a listening ear and sage advice.
Victor’s professional life was as impressive as his personal one. He worked for Phelps Dodge Copper Refinery for over 35 years, where he was admired for his work ethic and leadership. After retiring, Victor spent his time gold panning, riding his motorcycles, and spending quality time with his family.
Above all, Victor will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his deep love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Bracamontes-Mendoza, and his children Victor Mendoza, Jr. (Laura), Daniel Mendoza (Monica), Christina Mendoza, Samuel Mendoza and Steven Varela(Rachel), 13 Grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his legacy in their hearts.
