Norma L. Rodela, cherished Mother, Grandmother, Cousin, and Friend, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, at the age of seventy-three. She was born to Ysamel and Rosa Bitolas on April 20, 1951 in Pecos, Texas. Norma shared her life with her loving husband, Robert (Bobby) Rodela, and together, they brought an exceptional daughter into this world. Her legacy is continued by her daughter, Laura Villalobos, and two grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren Villalobos, who were the center of her world. Her family will forever treasure Norma's unconditional love and support. Professionally, Norma dedicated many years to working alongside her father and then continued to show her dedication to her community as an administrator at EPISD, where she made significant contributions and touched the lives of many colleagues. Nothing brought her more joy than seeing her loved ones smile as they enjoyed her delicious meals. In addition to her culinary skills, Norma had the superpower of ensuring that others around her were taken care of before herself. Her caring nature and selflessness left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Norma Linda Rodela will be remembered as a soft-spoken, caring individual who loved unconditionally. Her legacy as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, to celebrate Norma's life and share memories of her remarkable journey. The service will take place at San Jose Funeral Home East, 10950 Pellicano Dr, Chapel B, with visitation hours from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, with a rosary to take place at 6:00 pm.
