The family welcomes you to Cynthia’s “Celebration of Life” on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 12:00 pm at San Jose Funeral Home-East 10950 Pellicano, El Paso.

Cynthia P. Huereque, age 77, passed away on March 28th, 2024. She was born March 19, 1947 to Jesus and Maria Olivares in El Paso, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Huereque and is survived by her three children Eric Huereque Jr. (wife Liza), Paul Huereque (wife Lizzy) and Cindy Uribarri (husband Hector). Her sisters Elvia Olivares-Fuentes (husband Danny), Irma Escontrias (husband Henry) and Elizabeth Olivares-Abney; her grandchildren Caleb Uribarri (wife Kasandra), Nathaniel Uribarri (wife Elli), and Jevon Huereque, as well as beloved nieces and nephews.

Cynthia’s faith in Jesus Christ began in 1977.  She was the spiritual patriarch of the family and many family members and friends came to know Jesus as a result of her faith in Him. Cynthia was a teacher for 13 years before she started her own business, Eraser Dust, a teacher supply store in which she ran for 29 years.

For the last 10 years Cynthia battled cancer with unwavering faith. She never complained or felt sorry for herself. She was always so strong no matter what she faced. Her peaceful presence, joyful heart, grateful attitude, generosity and unconditional love will always be remembered by those who knew her.

She will truly be missed, but her memory will always be in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

The family welcomes you to Cynthia’s “Celebration of Life” on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 12:00 pm at San Jose Funeral Home-East 10950 Pellicano, El Paso.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
