Von C. Washington II
Von C. Washington II, 37, of El Paso, TX passed away August 21st, 2021, after a brief illness. His family was by his side as he passed from this life to be present with the Lord.
He was born September 11th, 1983, in El Paso, TX to Von C. Washington Sr. of Chesterfield, VA and Gayla R. Washington of Renton, WA. Known to his family as “VJ” he graduated from Faith Christian Academy and attended the University of Texas El Paso. He moved to San Antonio to pursue business opportunities in the Information Technology (IT) field. He later returned to El Paso where he worked on government contracts as a database programmer. VJ was the onsite IT Services Technician at IDA Technology for several years working alongside his family. Most recently he launched a successful online procurement services enterprise for classic, vintage, and one-of-a-kind collectible items of interest.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Emily (Vargas) Washington; a son, Von C. Washington III (Tre); two daughters, Patrizia Josephine Washington, and Ida Rochelle Washington; parents Von and Gayla Washington; sister, Tamika Washington; niece, Jasmine Marie Casas; nephew, James Willis (all El Paso).
He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Louvinia Hudgins, (Richmond, VA); and his maternal grandparents, James (deceased) and Carlene West (El Paso, TX) He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be at Abundant Living Faith Center on Friday September 3,2021 from 11 to 12:30. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery East at 1:00 pm.
