Robert Montes
Robert Montes, age 60, passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2020. Born August 16, 1959 in El Paso Texas where he resided upon his death. He is preceded in death by: Consuelo C. Montes (Grandmother), Marcos Montes (Grandfather), Lucilla Montes Gallegos (Mother), and Espy Montes (Aunt). He is survived by his loving wife Irene (Rena), his daughter Melissa Montes Deanda, son in law John G. Deanda. His grandchildren: Dominic and Tony. Brothers and Sisters: Ruben Gallegos, Marcos Montes, Eddie Gallegos, Ricardo Gallegos, Samuel Montes, Reynaldo Gallegos, Grace Chavez, Terry Montes, Corina Munoz, and Laly Flores. And his many nieces and nephews..

For anyone who met Robert, you will know that he was the most kind-hearted and easy going man that you will ever meet in your life. He had the biggest heart and had so much love for everyone. Although he was lost in an accident, his love for truck driving was the reason for his place of death but it was the way he wanted to go. On the road doing what he does best. During his life, he enjoyed dancing to his favorites “Fireball” by Pitbull, eating his favorite foods “spaghetti and meatballs, chinese, and macaroni salad,” watching the Dallas Cowboys games, and listening to oldies while dreaming of lowriders.

Robert was a generous, sympathetic, and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was respectful and a hard working person who deserved the best and happiest life. He will forever be missed…We love you…Until we meet again.
