Paula Jean Burch died on December 11, 2020. She was born on March 6, 1940. Paula is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lee and Mary Katherine Burch; and her siblings, Joe Burch, Sandra Lutz, and Donna Mieczkowski. She is survived by her family, Martha “Marti”Burch, Starla Langston, Charles “Chuck” Burch Jeanie Burch and Cynthia Wilcoxson, and best friend Hermila Herrera. Paula was a resident of El Paso for over 50 years, where she worked as a nurse. She was an emergency operating room nurse and worked at Hotel Dieu and the former R.E. Thomason hospitals. Paula was an aunt to several nieces and nephews, both biologically and her “River Rats.” She was fun-loving, curious, artistic, witty, very kind , and generous. No one could every match her infectious laugh or quick wit. There has never been a more devout Cowboys or Spurs fan! She loved music, traveling, and enjoying adventures with the many children whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed by many.
