Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother Oscar Cruz Candelaria, went to eternal rest with our Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth D. Candelaria; son Orlando Candelaria; daughters, Veronica Estrada and Esther Fernandez; grandchildren, Orlando Jr., Christopher, Samantha, Alejandro and Nicolas Candelaria, Amanda Butamante, Stephanie Falvey, Cesario Estrada III, Jacqueline D. Paradara and Ricardo C. Fernandez; brother Armando Candelaria and sister Marina Reyes. Visitation for Mr. Candelaria will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, Texas 79935 (915) 590-8700. Funeral mass will be Friday, January 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church located at 7424 Mimosa Avenue, El Paso, 79915. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Avenue, 79906.
