Our Beloved mother, Nancy Spain Perez (Murphy) has entered into God’s Kingdom on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at age 83. She was surrounded by her loving family and passed away peacefully after a short health battle. Nancy, born on June 9, 1938 in Riverside, California immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. When Nancy was younger her favorite activities were cooking, dressing up, going to the casino and loved dancing. She attended Jefferson High school and dedicated 40 years of her life as a sewing factory worker. She made courage’s impact representing women in the workforce when there was not much female presence. Nancy was blessed with six boys as her children, to whom she was fiercely dedicated to raising to go on to accomplish great things. Her precious boys came first and was above all else to Nancy, a value she instilled in all those around her. Our mother Nancy, was one of the strongest, most courage’s, bravest, and hard working women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family playing both the roles of mother and father in a home. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill as she served as an amazing mom never complaining, but demonstrating her love with actions for her little boys, now mature gentlemen. Nancy fell in love with the legendary singer, Vicente Fernandez and often happily joked how much she loved him and enjoyed his singing often answering back to his lyrics while listening to him. She romanticized the idea of how special he was to her, as she was a hopeless romantic. Nancy was a loyal to God, first and foremost. She was a devout believer in the Virgin de Guadalupe and believed in the miracles of her divine given power. Now that Nancy has passed into the arms of our Lord we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Nancy’s physical life on Earth, it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her with God. She is survived by many loving family member s including her handsome sons from oldest to youngest, Hector Thomas Lamas, Luis Julian Lamas, Antonio Jr. Perez, Richard Perez, Henry Perez and Billy Perez along with 12 grandchildren, who she loved incredibly. Visitation Will be On December 29, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Service will be on December 30,2021 at St Paul Catholic Church at 10:00am. Final Resting Place at Mount Carmel Cemtery.
