This is Maria Del Socorro Miranda “Socorro Miranda” Life Summary

Socorro was born August 9,1930 and passed away October 25,2021.

She was the daughter of Francisco and Manuela Rios. She had 5 siblings, Alfonso Rios, Ramon Rios, Perfecto Rios, Manuel Rios and Jesus Rios. All of them born in San Buenaventura, Chihuahua, Mexico

Socorro is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years Eduardo Miranda on May 24,2021. Also her sons Jose Luis Miranda, Eduardo Miranda and grandsons Joe (Kabuby) Reyna and Robert Nicholas Miranda

Together Socorro and Eduardo Miranda had 6 children: Dora M Castro, Rosa Stoafer, Jose Luis “Joe” Miranda, Eduardo “Eddie” Miranda, Robert Miranda, and Martha Avalos.

Socorro had 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren with one more great grandchild on the way.

Socorro was a devoted wife and mother and stayed at home caring of her husband, children and grandchildren.

She was a devout Christian and attended The Seventh Day Adventist church sharing her love of God with her children and grandchildren by example.

She was a strong, loving, supportive mother and grandmother that embodied the meaning of charity, generosity and love. She taught her children sound moral values, respect and the importance of integrity. She went out of her way to help others no matter what. There was always food on the stove for anyone who dropped by and a care package for your departure, from cookies, candies, medicinal herbs, a plant, clothes, a couple rolled dollars or a burrito or menudo in a recycled butter container for later. Not to mention a hug and kiss to keep you feeling warm inside the rest of your day

Her favorite things in life were was her beautiful garden, (as she had a green thumb like no other), her love of God and spending time with her family. Her Family was everything to her. She loved visitors and chatting about everything and anything. She received everyone with a smile, love and kindness. That was just her nature.

We are going to miss her dearly as she was the support, strength and comfort for our family. A massive hole will be felt in each and every one of us but we will draw strength from the things she taught us and live by her words and advice she left us with along the way.

She will be missed by all but her memory will live in each and every one of us who loved her.
We love you and miss you more than words can say.

Always,
Your family
