Manuel was a hard-working man who began work on the farm in west El Paso in his early years, then moving on to work in the cotton gins as he got older.  He retired from the Texas Highway Department as a Foreman of the Ysleta District after 25 years of dedicated service.   He was always willing to lend a helping hand and share his many skills with all of his family and each of his children.    He was well respected and will be missed.
