Kenneth Ray McDaniel, 84, of El Paso, Texas went to be with the Lord August 13th, 2022. Birthplace was San Augustine, TX December 19th, 1937. Parents were Aline & Ralph McDaniel. Because he wanted to see the world he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His kindness overflowed as he always wanted to lend a hand to someone in need. Mac was a brilliant machinist and welder who worked various government jobs. Alongside his wife, son, and son in law he built sprint cars with his own unique ideas and was able to see his ideas flourish; winning at the highest level. While racing was a big part of his life, he had a passion for teaching others and taught welding as a Military instructor and as a college professor. Brother McDaniel was a member of the Ysleta Lodge #130. He worked very hard to provide for his family, just recently retiring from driving soldiers at Ft. Bliss.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother Aline McDaniel & father Ralph McDaniel, Brothers Phillip, James and Lyndon McDaniel, his son Kenneth R. McDaniel, JR., son-in-law, Jay Jonas.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty McDaniel, son, Anthony Quinn McDaniel daughter in law Diana McDaniel, daughter, Stacey Jonas, and four grandchildren Jeremy Jonas, Anthony McDaniel, Desirae Jonas, & Sarah McDaniel.
