Jose F. Ramirez “Pancho”
It is with great sadness that the family of Pancho announce of his passing on December 2, 2020 at age 76 in his hometown El Paso, TX. As many of you know he had been suffering of a stroke and had a heart condition. Pancho passed away peaceful and painless at his beloved home. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Pancho as he was known was a hard worker, noble, and humble with a great sense of humor. He would always go over and beyond for his family and would lend a helping hand. He is loved dearly and no words can describe how much he will be missed by all who new him.
Pancho was born and raised in CD. Juarez, CHIH, to Lucio G. Ramirez (2006†) and Juana M. Ramirez (1994†). Pancho grew up in Chaveña Park which he was extremely proud of and would tell his amazing stories of his numerous adventures. He loved music even though he was a bad dancer he would enjoy jamming on those oldies, and listening to Los Panchos (boleros) the classics. One of his hobbies was fixing up cars as adolescent, he always talked about his classic cars and Chevy make was his ultimate favorite. He also enjoyed cooking and celebrating with his family.
Pancho is survived by his wife Abigail Ramirez, his children Gerardo Ramirez, Veronica Ramirez, Monica Gutierrez (Jesus), Jose F. Ramirez Jr. (Sarah), Olga M. Ramirez and grandchildren Gregory E. Ramirez, Elisa M. Lopez, Gerardo Ramirez Jr., Roberto E. Gutierrez Jr., Dammaryz Pedroza, Jacob Ramirez, D’Marquez J. Ramirez, Diego G. Gutierrez, Jesus A. Mendoza, Ilaria R. Ramirez, Keyla A. Ramirez. Brothers: Ubaldo Ramirez (Blanca), Efren Ramirez (Teresa), and Lucio G. Ramirez, Jr. (Dora) and sisters: Cecilia Ramirez, Irene Carrillo(Rome), Virginia Loera and numerous nephews and nieces. Pancho is proceed by the passing of his parents, his brother Carlos Ramirez (2016), granddaughter Brielle Ramirez (2020) and sister Estela Flores (2020).
Per Pancho’s wishes, he will be cremated. The following services will take place prior to cremation: Viewing will be on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 5PM-8PM and the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home 10950 Pellicano Dr., El Paso, TX 79935. There will be no post mass. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will completely understand if loved ones choose not to attend in person. San Jose Funeral Home will make all efforts to limit the number of attendees for those who choose to pay their last respects in person.
