Jesus Villalobos, 85, a widower, of El Paso, TX, passed away on Sunday, 24, 2019. He was the seventh child out of eight. He was born to parents Manuela Ruiz and Marcos Villalobos on 6 February 1934 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. He is survived by the following: his younger brother Salvador (wife Jenny Salazar); Jesus’ children: Daniel (wife Rachael Rivas), Laura (husband Henry Campbell) and Victor Villalobos (wife Shannon Murray). His grandchildren include Adam, Lauren, and Annie Villalobos, and Christopher, Aaron and Timothy Campbell (wife Rachel Sifuentes including several great grand-children who called him “Opa”. For many decades “Chuy” worked with Allstate Insurance Co. and was an Income Tax Consultant for the elderly. He was also a volunteer for Mount Cristo Rey and a member of the Downtown Lions club. He also supported the artist who painted the Virgen de Guadalupe located at the 7/11 on the corner of Zaragoza and Alameda. He provided lively celebrations including Mariachis, Matachines, and Catholic leaders to lead in prayer each year for Our Lady of Guadalupe each December. Chuy was a very generous man. He donated time, money and a listening ear for many. He had many friends and cared for many people. We will miss him dearly. Love you always “Apa”. Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935. Funeral mass at 12:30 at St. Mark Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
