Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, and brother Harold Morales 71, passed away January 9, 2023.He was born on September 27, 1951 in Salzburg, Austria. He grew up in El Paso, and graduated from Bel Air High School, joined the Marines to proudly serve his country. He worked at Asarco for 22 years until closure. His biggest accomplishment was his family. He was a very hard worker who showed a great deal of responsibility and was dependable in every way. A man full of resiliency and strength, but yet serious and funny in his own special way. Enjoyed attending both of his grandsons sports events, and was their #1 FAN. Enjoyed watching documentaries, history channel, animal TV shows, but most of all sports. We could not have wished for a better husband, father, and grandpa. You may be gone, but the love you’ve given us will always remain strong within our hearts. He preceded in death by his parents Efrain Morales and Luise Kenawi. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lydia Elizabeth Morales, children Christopher Morales (Annabel), Venessa Marie Morales (Manny), Monica Elizabeth Morales, grandsons Jordan Ross, Daniel Morales, sisters Pilar, Claudia, and brother Ronald, and our faithful pug companion Astro. Pall Bearers are Christopher Morales, Daniel Christopher Morales, Jordan Marley Ross, Quincy Ross, Manny Munoz, Bobby Joe Barrs, Oscar Ortega, and Tyrus Taylor. Visitation will be held on January 30, 2023 from 10:00-12:30 at San Jose Funeral Home East, burial to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
