Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister Guadalupe C. Chavez, 95, lifelong resident of El Paso, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2020. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Ramon Chavez; daughters, Antonia Williams and Helen de la Cerda. Survived by son Ramon Chavez Jr.: daughters, Elva Gaytan, Ofelia Chavez and Guadalupe Henderson, grandchildren and her brother Camerino Cortez.You will live forever in our hearts. We know you’ll always guide us with your light and we will be together again. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 5:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East. Interment will be Monday, January 4, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery.
