El Paso- Frank W. Segaline, passed away peacefully at home December 11,2021 at the age of 86. Born in Meriden, CT to John and Mary Segaline. He was one of 10 children. After HS graduation, he joined the golf business and earned at the age of 21, he became one of the youngest members of the PGA, who became a 66-year member and lifetime member. He was a touring pro, club pro and teaching pro back East until 1977 when he moved his family to El Paso, TX. He was a member of the Sun Country Section PGA where he coached, taught and played golf. He loved the game of golf and had many accomplishments. Some of his proudest among winning many tournaments was winning the Mallorca, Spain Open and Qualifying for the PGA and US Open. He played the inaugural years of the PGA Sr Tour. He loved life, all sports, and especially golf. His family and friends always loved talking to him for he always had a great story to tell. He was married for over 57 years to Anita. He loved his family especially his 3 boys and their families; Frank and Barbara, Tywain and Maria, Mark and Christina. He was very proud of their accomplishments; however, he loved his 7 grandchildren; Nicholas, Alex, Dr. Nicole, Kirsten, Alexis, John Tyler and Mark Robert. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Louie, Joe; sisters, Louise and Lena, and daughter in law, Barbara. Frank was one of a kind and he lived his life his way on his terms. He is survived by his wife, Anita; his sons, Frank, Tywain and Mark; his brothers, John and Eugene; sisters, Lena, Dorothy and Margaret, as well as many relatives in CT and WA. A celebration of life will be held at The Riviera Restaurant, 5218 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, TX 79932, on Sunday, December 19th from 3-7pm.
