It is with great sadness that our beloved Ester A. Porras has left us peacefully on the morning of fourth of July at the age of 71. She was loved and cared for on her final days in her own home by her loving family. Ester was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She was married to the love of her life whom she lost last year, they had three children whom they both loved and adored. Ester was a loving and compassionate person, she was strong when you needed her the most, and a trustworthy, and devoted person, Ester also had a fun-loving outlook on life. She retired as a long-time health care worker for Providence hospital. Ester was dedicated to her grandchildren who she helped raise and loved caring for her great grandchildren very much. Ester is survived by two sons Jesus and Gabriel, a sister Christy, and brother Tony, 11 grandchildren Angelyn, Carlos “Chuck”, Roman, Chris, Brandon, Victoria, Tiffany, Haley, Aolani , Taissa, and Jesus Manuel 3rd, and her great grandchildren Elijah, Evelyn, Luna, and Manuel “Sol.”
You hold time within your hands, and see it all, from beginning to end. Please keep and carry these precious people in their sadness and loss. Cover them with your great wings of love, give their weary hearts rest and their minds sound sleep. Lord, lift their eyes so that they may catch a glimpse of eternity and be comforted by the promise of heaven.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

Visitation for Ester will be held at San Jose Funeral Home-East on Saturday, July 9,2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Rosary at 11:00am.
