n November 19,2020 my wonderful mother, Carmen Garcia, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 with her family by her side. She had been declining slowly over the years but she was a fighter and kept amazing us with her love of life. She wasn’t ready to go at that time and she still wanted to see so many things before she left us. She got to see my children grow up and become professionals. She loved her grandchildren more than anything in this world. It was a pure and unconditional love that I felt from her as I was growing up and my children got to experience it too. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals especially over the holidays. She was the best mother anyone could ever wish for and now she is the best angel that we can ever have to look over us and protect us and to let us lead our lives in the best way we can. Thank you mom for giving me so many years to admire and love you. That’s the best gift you could have given us.
Caren is survived by her husband Eulalio Garcia and her children Albert Garcia, Jeannie Westerfield and Letty Talavera. A memorial service will be held at a future date when it is safe to do so due to the pandemic and her ashes will be laid to rest at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
