Antonio “Tony” Armando Carrillo was a beloved father of 5 and a friend to many. He went to be with his heavenly father on November 6, 2022, at the age of 91 in El Paso, Texas. Antonio was blessed to be born into a large family that consisted of 7 brothers and 6 sisters. There was little need to look outside the family for friends as he just had to turn around to find a friend within his home. Antonio was a loving father and grandfather. Antonio’s greatest joy was sharing the Gospel. Although he was a very private and quiet man he loved his family and found hope and love in everyone. He was a child of God who loved the Lord, his family, his church, and his community. He graduated proudly from Bowie High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Antonio was preceded in death by his parents Fernando and Eugenia, as well as his brothers, Rafael, Fernando Jr., Raul, Gilberto, and sisters, Esperanza, Teresa, and Dolores. Also preceded in death are his wife, Marylou, son, Tony Jr., and his daughter-in-law, Luz Carrillo. He is also survived by his siblings, Angelina, Bertha, Gloria, Hector, and David, and many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sons, David, and his wife, Vicenta, Robert, Victor, and his wife, Selma, and his daughter, Eunice and her husband Robert Green, and daughter-in-law, Monica Carrillo, Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
